說明：
一、為鼓勵國小學童透過標準化測驗，記錄學習歷程、設定學習目標與自主學習，本中心推出專為臺灣國小學童研發設計的「小學英檢」（ GEPT Kids ，以下簡稱本測驗）。測驗結果能供家長、教師及教育決策者，有效評量學童英語學習成效。
二、本測驗涵蓋聽、讀、寫、說四項，內容設計參考教育部課綱、國小教材及「歐洲語言共同參考架構」（簡稱 CEFR ）。檢測程度相當於 CEFR A1 級，可銜接「全民英檢」初級（ CEFR A2 ）。
三、 GEPT Kids 將於 6 月 17 日舉辦筆試（聽、讀、寫測驗），現正報名中。測驗內容、題型及學習資源（例如：家長與教師參考手冊及參考字表）等訊息敬請參閱「小學英檢」官網（ https://www.geptkids.org.tw ）。
四、為鼓勵學童自信展現英文聽、讀、寫、說能力， LTTC 特別設置獎勵辦法，凡報考 2017 年「小學英檢」且筆試成績達 8 顆太陽、口試達 4 顆太陽，總成績達 12 顆太陽，將有資格獲得獎勵；共有近 300 個獲獎機會，總價值超過十萬元，上下半年考生分別擇優獲獎一次。得獎者除獲頒獎狀外，還可獲得獎學金及「全民英檢」初級測驗抵用券。
